I will be much more motivated to write on this if people post comments so I know that it is actually being looked at.
RANDOM THOUGHTS:
Freshers party was very fun.
This morning-less fun.
I met everyone living on my flat last night and they are all very nice. Much more sociable than Americans.
After these LCR events there is a dirty truck selling greasy food outside the exit door. I tried a cheeseburger last night and it was quite literally the best cheeseburger I have ever had in my life!
Also, I think there is serious potential to make a lot of money in America selling alcoholic ciders.
More later, when I can think a bit more clearly.

OK, so the Irish have a the bad rap on too much drinking! Sounds like the Brits are serious participants as well! A good hamburger? Really? God, I only remember Dover sole being the thing to eat. Can't remember what we fed you on that trip when you were only 13 months!
ReplyDeleteNo doubt, the freshman will be intriqued by the American.
Hey, how often do you usually feed Betsy? - Oops, is that her name?
Haha. So pleased to have a comment!
ReplyDeleteBetsy can be fed once a day. Never more than twice. And the longest she should go without food is about 2 weeks. "A hungry fish is a happy fish".
Oh yes. Best hamburgers. I'm not going out tonight(another huge Freshers party), but I may go find the hamburger truck!
Also, I had a full breakfast the other day and that was incredible too.
Great Indian food! And, of course, the Fish and Chips are amazing.
They do sell alcoholic ciders here, they just aren't very popular. Most of them are from over there, actually, like Magners and Strongbow, but there are American-made ones, too, like Harpoon and Woodchuck. Apparently the English ones are more on the dry side. I've only tried Harpoon's and it was kinda like bad wine, haha. I just thought you'd like to know.
ReplyDeletewoah, we have strongbow!?
ReplyDeletethat's awesome
